The Jewish community has been badly effected by the Corona Virus and Hatzola is often on the front line responding to calls, putting themselves at risk and saving lives.  Whilst Hatzala has specifically been created to support the Jewish community they respond with equal kindness and professionalism when they are helping Jews and non-Jews alike.

As of last week a leading newspaper reported “Jews have been hit six times harder than other Britons, accounting for 2.3 per cent of coronavirus deaths while comprising just 0.4 per cent of the population.”

We would love to raise much needed funds for medical equipment that Hatzola Edgware need specifically for dealing with Corona Virus cases.

I have personally been in contact with Hatzola and this is a list of medical equipment that would really help them:

£108 - stethoscope

£216 - blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter and thermometer

£432 - trauma kit bag

£648 - full medical kit bag

£1000 - electronic suction unit

£1500 - defibrillator carried by members

£5000 - full members kits X 2, plus jackets and radios

£10,000 – PPE for coronavirus protection for our members

£15,000 – defibrillator on ambulance

He was affectionately known as Port to his close family and recently returned to his Maker.  Port would have been 94 on the 1st May.  He was so very proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and we will continue to make him proud.   We adored him and we miss him so much.
