On Saturday 17th February, I will be climbing Mount Snowdon which has an elevation of 1,085 m (3,560 ft) with a team on behalf of MeA Community Centre which is a community faith based charity catering for the needs of the Luton community.

I am the youngest member of the Team at age 14 with my brother Qasim being the second youngest  age 16 we are both very nervous and excited about this challenge.

Our team is trying to raise money for a multi facility community Centre for use by all no matter what race, religion, colour, background or gender.

We want sports & recreation facilities plus a Ladies only Gym, a Commercial Kitchen to cook food and feed the Homeless & Hungry, MeA is a coordination point for volunteers for facilitating Humanitarian aid for the most needy impacted by conflict or natural disasters both here in the UK and abroad, a coffee lounge and libraries; adult education centre & much more; everyone can come and feel welcome.

We will be following the Llanberies Trail which is next to the Snowdon Mountain Railway.  Edmund Hillary trained on Snowdon before conquering Mount Everest. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.
