Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Hareni Pakirathan and I am 11 years old . I have been growing my hair for the last three years to donate 12 inches of my hair to the princess trust to help to make wigs for children who lost their hair due to cancer treatments. At the same time I am raising funds to Foster care of  BUDS UK. This Registered charity  gives financial support to underprivileged children who has no parents or raised by single parent. In some cases both parents are alive but lives below poverty line and struggle to provide for their children. I know how happy I am to have and raised by both parents. My Aunty is a life member of this charity and  works very close with the charity. I have chosen foster care BUDS UK, so we can see the benefits of this fund we are raising . I believe every child should be given the chance of a decent life and education . Hence I am raising the funds to this charity. I also know how many children have lost their hair to cancer treatments and I hope I can bring a smile on another child’s face by donating my hair . I took care of it so it could be put to a great cause .
