Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As some of you know, in 2015, Hannah went into premature labour at 25 weeks and gave birth to beautiful twin daughters, Bettie and Angel. Unfortunately Angel died after birth and Bettie was rushed to St Michaels Hospital in Bristol to their specialist neonatal ward. She was a little fighter but after 2 weeks her little body gave up. She died on 20 January 2015.
We wanted to commemorate the girls memory 3 years on. We also wanted to thank and raise awareness of a charity for their support at the time.
Cots for Tots is a charity which raises money for the specialist neonatal ward at St Michaels Hospital in Bristol. They also provide accommodation for parents and families of premature babies, which is situated in the grounds of St Michaels hospital. We were given a family room which meant we could all be at Bettie’s bed side night and day. This was invaluable as travelling back and forth to St Michaels from Cheltenham would of been impossible to think about during this tough time.
We will be doing a number of events this year and will be aiming to raise £3000 for Cots for Tots, so if you fancy donating anything, we would be eternally grateful. This money will help other families who will go through a similar story to us, but hopefully with a happier outcome.
Although the girls will never be replaced, We were lucky enough to be blessed with another daughter Annabelle last year, and along with Dexter they lighten our lives! Thanks for reading xxx
