I’m not putting it off any longer. I’m taking the DofE Diamond Challenge right now. Join me or sponsor me and help transform the lives of vulnerable young people.

I didn't take part in the DofE when I was at school, I don't remember it being offered so if it was available I was either too busy taking exams or wan't interested at the time.

My Challenge: Sometime between the 9th and 16th July 2016, spend at least one night wild camping, or if the weather forecast for the whole week prevents this, spend at least one night in a Bothy.

I won't be doing this totally alone, I will have my dog, Hilda, with me. She will be 22 months at the time of the challenge and although she doesn't know it yet she will be getting a dog-rucksack and helping to carry some of the camping gear - but nothing edible!
