From Palm Sunday to the Easter Vigil, I will wear no shoes or socks wherever and whatever I do. I do this because I believe that Lent should be about more than self sacrifice, it should bring something positive too. In giving up my shoes and socks, a simple necessity here, I experience what many others have to live with. When you donate money to the cause, it means many people will no longer have to live without items we do not think twice about having. In my sacrifice, I can bring hope to others. This I think embodies the message of Easter and will hopefully change a few lives. Many thanks for looking and even greater thanks for your donation.
