Jailbreak · 28 October 2011
So what is jailbreak, and why am I doing it?!
On October 28th I'l be taking part in Manchester University's famous Jailbreak challenge. The aim is to get as far away from Manchester as possible in 30 hours using any means of transport, the only rule being that we're not allowed to spend a penny! I'm taking part in this challenge with two of my friends in order to raise money for KidsCan - the Childrens Cancer Research Centre. KidsCan supports research into new and improved treatments for children with cancer. They receive no statutory funding, and so my aim is to raise at least £120 for them by taking part in this challenge. So please dig deep and throw some money my way for this well deserved cause!
*Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
