Story
As many of you know I’m running the London marathon. I’m not a runner and I can’t quite believe I’m actually going to do this! The Chester half-Marathon was the hardest thing I’ve ever done! I only started running to lose a bit of weight, never ever did I think it would turn into one of the hardest challenges ever, but I’m determined to give it a good go.
So while I’m running in the rain, ice and wind, standing on my feet all day and then going for a run, and spending my weekends in agony running miles and miles away from my family - I thought it would be a good opportunity to raise some money.
I’m raising money for CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association). My youngest daughter Sophia was born with a cleft lip and CLAPA gave me lots of support during that difficult time, so it’s a charity very close to my heart. Any donation would be gratefully received.
