Hello my friends!!!! 

I am currently residing in northern Greece volunteering with Lifting Hands International (LHI), a not for profit organisation which has a refugee centre located 100m from two refugee camps in the small city of Serres.

LHI run psychosocial programs- including a female friendly space and a children friendly space in which I am working- education classes, and distributes aid as well. 

I am starting a fundraiser whilst I am here to assist LHI in continuing to meet the needs of refugee families in Serres and those living in other camps across northern Greece. Any amount you can spare is immensely appreciated!!!!! 

I have only been here for about two weeks but I can already see the amazing impact this organisation has on the refugee community here in Serres. Donations will go to improving the centre’s facilities and aid capabilities, in order to alleviate some of the difficulties faced by the refugees, who have faced and continue to face hardships most of us can’t even imagine.
