Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and reading about our group.

We are12 friends with a shared passion for cycling and in May we are riding from where we live in Hale through beautiful (but hilly!) Snowdonia to Abersoch. It's a total of 140 miles and we're doing it over 2 days - we do like our coffee and lunch stops!

Last year we cycled the "Coast & Castles" route from Tynemouth to Edinburgh and the year before we completed the C2C. We were asked by lots of people at the time if we were doing the rides for charity, we weren't as we were unsure we could do the distances so it could have been embarrassing!

As it turned out we could so this year we decided to do some good as well as have a lot of fun. Through 2 friends Pauline & Cathy we have been introduced to the Spinal Injuries Association and have learnt what an amazing job they do. We took a table at the "Bicycle Ball" they organised in December, had a fantastic night and agreed it would be a hugely worthwhile charity to support.

We would be very grateful for any contribution at all, every penny really does help and all money raised goes directly to the charity.
