2020... Coronavirus... Lockdown... Has it stopped us?... NO!!!

Like all charities and all in the performing arts sector, Hereford Musical Theatre Company has been significantly affected by the worldwide pandemic. We have had to cancel shows, including our long-awaited and much anticipated production of "Chicago", and we have had to mothball our own Tomkins Theatre - not only our Company's home, but also a venue that is hired regularly by individuals and groups within the community - meaning that we have lost all our normal ways of raising funds... until now!

Not prepare to rest on our laurels, and missing what we all love most - Musical Theatre - we have put together a virtual concert. Yes, that's right, not just one or two songs, but a WHOLE CONCERT!

HMTC Goes Virtually Viral

Throughout April, May and June, our members have been meeting "virtually" every week to rehearse and, in the latter weeks, have been independently recording their parts. Thanks to the technical wizardry of our fabulous Musical Director, Jenni Axtell, and our "guest video editor", John Quarrell, ably assisted by his wife, Sarah, one of our members, these recordings have been miraculously meshed and merged into our first ever virtual concert.

We really hope that you have enjoyed our efforts and, if you have, that you will support us at this time with a donation.
