HMS Oardacious are a team of Submariners who champion resilience through adversity, support charities, inspire the public and collaborate with even more fantastic organisations.  All of the money we receive from our supporters is spent on projects that improve the wellbeing, mental health and welfare of all Submariners, serving and retired, and their families. 

In January 2020, HMS Oardacious became the first ever Royal Navy team, and the fastest military team in history to row any ocean.  The team spent 37 days, 6 hours and 40 minutes battling across the North Atlantic to reach Nelsons Dockyard, Antigua.

We repeated this success in the 2022 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, regaining our record of the fastest military team to row any ocean, with a new time of 35 days, 17 hours and 19 minutes and we are proud to announce that we are ready to continue the HMS Oardacious mission into 2023 and beyond.
