Story

James started working at Guy Carpenter 20 years ago - where he grew personally and professionally to become a popular broker, especially within the London market.

He had a great enthusiasm for the industry - and left a lasting impact on anyone that came across his path, thanks to his infectious smile, great energy and for everyone who knew  him, a wicked sense of humour.

He battled cancer with a strong spirit until the very end - another testament of his ever so stubborn personality! We will all miss him very much.

So in James' memory, we are setting up this page to allow for donations to be made to a charity closely connected to James and his family. The charity, "Family in Trust", is a small registered organisation run by the Roberts family, which works to promote the care and material educational, mental and spiritual welfare of children and adults who are suffering, or who have suffered, from the effects of mental and/ or physical handicaps or social deprivation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
