We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Thank you for visiting the JustGiving page for team Gurning Grimpeurs. We want to support Bloodwise. Mike was diagnosed with leukaemia in April 2013, and sadly passed away on 1st February 2014.

“We hope that you can donate for us and let doctors try and save people's lives”. Molly

So far we have raised over £2,400* offline, through coffee mornings (at Upminster Infant school and the Bay View Hotel Killybegs), as well as, turbo challenges at Peleton and Bentalls, and Molly and Patrick's Yard Sale, lodged directly with Bloodwise. Thank you all who have donated and helped make these events happen. We have two more events coming up in the autumn, a turbo challenge at Look Mum no Hands and a Quiz in Upminster.

Mike's son Patrick (8) and daughter Molly (9) completed a 'kids mile' at the Richmond Running Festival on 6th September. Uncle and aunt, Iain and Jacqueline cycled 500km from London to Paris, from 17th - 20th September.

100% of donations will go to Bloodwise either directly to them or through Just Giving, none of your donations will be spent on logistics or other expenses for these events.

Many thanks for sponsoring us,

Molly, Patrick, Maureen, Iain and Jacqueline
