What are we doing?
We will be doing a 40 mile bed race from the children's hospice in Wraxhall to Weston Super mare then camping overnight and coming all the way back.
All the money we raise will go directly to the hospice.
What does the hospice do?
The hospice provides outstanding care to these inspirational children and their families.
Some families may use the hospice for many years, from the time the child is first diagnosed as having an incurable condition which will mean they will die in childhood. The whole family can stay at our hospices, and with a dedicated sibling support service available, this means that the well brothers and sisters can be cared for during their visit and enjoy spending time with other children in similar situations to their own.
The support we give extends to the whole family, into bereavement and beyond for as long as each family needs us. With more than one thousand life-limited children across the South West, our support for families is absolutely vital.
Why donate?
Every penny that we raise will help make a big
difference to all the children and families at the hospice. Your donation will
ensure that the hospice can continue their fantastic work, more young children and
their families will be able to make the most of their precious lives and make
every day count.
For just £10, (£2.50 a week - the price of a cup of coffee!) you could make a huge difference.
