Why Lupus UK?

As some of you are aware my mum is a regular at Nevill Hall due to this relatively unknown yet common illness. Lupus affects the immune system and can affect any part of the body, principally the kidneys and the skin, also the heart, lungs and brain. Lupus can produce many symptoms and family doctors often fail to recognise it, meanwhile a number of major organs can be damaged in an irreversible way. This is why I feel it is important to raise awareness of this incurable immune system illness whilst at the same time showing support for my mum who lives with it every day.

The Plan

Movember is upon us, you know the deal I wont be shaving my tash for a whole month. All other facial hair will be removed excluding my eyebrows (I cant push Kaz that far!!)

 

I will upload a picture of my slug free upper lip Wednesday 31st October 2012 to prove fairplay.  

 

I shall be uploading pictures of the tash in its full glory every two days starting Thursday 1st November (Movember) 2012.
