The Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society (AFES) have been supporting the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Children's Hospital, through our Annual Christmas Quiz, for a number of years now.  The name obviously appealed to us (the Archie equation is a fundamental for us Petrophysicists!) but the tremendous work the hospital does deserves all our support in its own right.
