Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Danny McCabe was my friend. On 25th January 2020 Danny sadly passed away after a brave fight with a brain tumour.

The Brain Tumour Research Campaign work to raise awareness of the critical need for increased funding while supporting desperately needed ‘bench-to-bedside’ research projects. If you can, please donate to this great charity.

On 7th August I shall be taking part in the Tour des stations Ultrafondo road cycling event in his memory here in Valais, Switzerland. It is 242km with an elevation gain of 8848m (the height of Mount Everest!) I am hoping to achieve it under 16 hours but the time does not really matter. Finishing the race will be satisfying and a real challenge.

RIP Danny/Soldier

Thank you everyone for all your support

Gordon
