Story
It’s ok not to be ok.
Why? Because life is complicated.
It is complicated for everyone regardless of wealth, health, status or standing. What is easy for some is complicated for others and what is complicated for some can be completely debilitating for others. It is irrelevant on what the subject is, because for everyone, life is complicated. And it really is ok, not to be ok.
So, to raise some awareness and to raise a few quid for those needing a bit of help, we will be undertaking a challenge! 24 hours of golf on Friday 18th June 2021.
A single round of golf can be more than enough at times the
way we play but in 24 hours we plan to play approximately 6 rounds between Inverness and Kings Golf Clubs in Inverness.
Team members are Scott Laws, Terry Dickson and Jamie Stewart.
All and any contributions are welcomed and very much appreciated.

At Mikeysline, our ultimate aim is suicide prevention. We were established in 2015 following the suicides of two close friends within days of each other, Mikey Williamson and Martin Shaw, both aged 23. Our textline service was set up to provide an anonymous, safe, confidential way to access peer support, a listening ear from someone who understands what that person may be feeling, having their own lived experience of mental health issues. We also operate a drop in centre, The Hive, on Academy Street in Inverness.
