Story

☘️A Chairde,

In Glenullin we have a very strong cultural identity. This is not just shown by our participation in Gaelic games but also throughout our community which is enriched by many traditional musicians, singers, dancers, story tellers and Gaelic speakers.

Each year we have always raised money for Trócaire on St Patrick’s Day at each of the masses in St Joseph’s Church. Unfortunately due to the outbreak of the corona virus last March and the ongoing lockdown this year, we have been unable to do this.

As you know Trócaire supports many people across the world who experience extreme hardship and hunger due to war, lack of food, poor sanitation and lack of education.

We would appreciate if you could make a donation to support this wonderful Irish charity and if you prefer to make your normal Trócaire box donation here rather than returning your box, that would be even better. Fr Crowley has agreed that all donations received will contribute towards our annual Trócaire collection. Also if you pay tax, please tick the gift aid box and put in your details. This will add 25% to your donation.

Many thanks to all the artists who have given their time to entertain you and as ever to you for all your support.

Tá súil againn go mbainfidh sibh taitneamh as an tsiamsaíocht agus go gcuideoidh sibh leis an chúis iontach seo.~ We hope you will enjoy the entertainment and that you will help this worthy cause.
