It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write this as I have lost the great, great person that was my life.  However I know that Glen would  want some good to come from this terrible tragedy and so, with your help, I will do my best to raise as much money as possible to help fund research and awareness of this devastating disease and try to prevent other families having to go through this.  

Although Glen had been a little unwell at the end of May 2020 and had been undergoing many tests and procedures,  he had been working normally and enjoying life to the full until very recently.  Always with that great smile and positivity. There was never a doubt in our minds that they would find out the problem and treat it. 

Unfortunately the diagnosis was only made on 23rd November which was the same day that Glen suffered complications as a result of this devastating disease that took him away from us.  He was diagnosed with a very rare immune system disorder -Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (Adult-HLH).  

Because it is so rare there is little mainstream funding for research; any donations you are able to make will help with research and awareness and thus help others in the future.
