Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After witnessing first hand the difference in the children being raised in an Orphanage compared to the refugee camps...I can honestly say it makes the world of a difference! All children deserve the right to a safe home, where they are loved and protected.
Your donations allowed us to rent the building used for the Lebanon Orphanage in late 2020 Alhumdulillah - Dar al Sakeena (The House of Peace). We are fundraising to help sustain this Orphanage to continue giving children a better life.
With your support, the Orphanage can continue to provide Housing, Food, HealthCare, Personal Development, General Recreation & School Fees - In’shaa’Allah! (God - willing)
Alhumdullilah WCF have 5 Orphanages, yet there are still so many children needing homes. These are our children.
And how can you choose between 2 projects very close to your heart? You can't!
This page is also to raise funds for Project Enable. This is a special project that aims to provide medical aid to support those who need it most.
We provide:
- Prosthetic items
- Mobility Items (wheelchairs, zimmer frames,crutches and more)
- Medical Care
- Physiotherapy
- General support to enable work and independence
With the aim to ease some of their difficulties, it allows them to regain a sense of independence and productivity iA :)
I will never forget this man who lost an arm in a bombing...this project allowed him to have a fully functioning prosthetic arm. His words were “I have 2 young children, and now I can finally hold them both at the same time” 🥺

MashaAllah there is a separate page made solely for the Orphanage - I have attached the link so you can see the progress. Some of the funds raised from this page will be added to that (it's the same cause), and the rest will go towards medical aid.
**Edit - We originally aimed to also fundraise for a Centre for the Blind and visually impaired in Pakistan, however have been advised this project is on hold due to Covid, therefore remaining funds will go towards project enable*
