Givaudan's 100km for KAB's 100th Anniversary

Jane Heyburn is raising money for Kent Association for the Blind

100km for KAB's 100th Anniversary · 27 July 2020

Working with over 11,000 people with a sight impairment in Kent and surrounding areas, we’re one of the largest local sight loss charities in the UK. Our aims are to work to prevent avoidable sight loss, deliver excellent support services and help people to live independently.

Story

Our challenge - for Givaudan employees to walk, run, ride 100km for KAB from 1st August to the end of the year. In KAB's centenary year so many plans have been put on hold due to the pandemic that we want to step up and commit to getting active and getting sponsorship to reach our goal of 100km for KAB.

All employees are invited to join the challenge, record their efforts and encourage friends, family and colleagues to sponsor them to achieve our target of £5,000.

KAB support visually impaired clients across the county, changing lives for the better in the process. Giving hope in desperate times. They are supporting and caring and are a wonderful charity to be involved with.

Happy 100th Birthday from us all at Givaudan.

Jane Heyburn (on behalf of the Givaudan Ashford Charity Committee)
