I'm raising money to provide a sanctuary and a life-changing camp experience for LGBTQ+ young people. Did you know that it is estimated that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ youth (13-24) seriously consider suicide each year in the U.S.,  and at least one attempts suicide every 45 seconds? 

At camp, hundreds of young people are free to be themselves, free of judgment, and free of bullying. They are embraced and celebrated when arriving and welcomed into the camp community. I need your help to make it happen! To make camp affordable to those that need it most, I'm helping to raise funds for the 45% of campers who require financial assistance. 

My fundraising goal is $30,000, which covers the cost of a full week of camp experience for 30 kids. Camp matters to me because it creates happiness and hope for children and families who need it most.

When I was invited to camp 30 years ago, it provided a safe place to feel loved when I was losing my father to AIDS.  Even though 30 years have passed, a safe space in our community is needed more than ever!
