Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Gill and David will be attempting the Gritstone Edge Challenge Walk on 25 June 2016.  This long distance walk starts at Ladybower Reservoir, follows the eastern edges of the Peak District and finishes at Baslow, a distance of 22 miles and an ascent of 3000 ft.

We have chosen to raise money for the charity Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) for very personal reasons.  Both sides of our family have been affected by both Leukaemia and Lymphoma over a number of years, so we hope to raise funds for this worthwhile charity to help others to survive in the future.

We will be walking with Gill's sister, Jane, and our brother-in-law Colin, who will be raising funds for SIFT, which is a Christian charity, committed to transforming the lives of the poor in Nicaragua.
