The Marathon des Sables is a tough event, "the toughest footrace on earth" according to some. In 2014 I will participate in this event and I will do this for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is the the UK’s largest regional medical research charity. One of their goals is to help more people surviving cancer and give them a better quality of life.

The coming year will be all about the marathon des sables for me. I will train to be in the best shape possible and run various races on the way there. I intend to run a marathon in Georgia and Turkey. Other events will be longer and shorter races.
