Story
In loving memory of Kate Adams (Barrow). Much loved and admired by all. A life dedicated initially to the nursing profession but ultimately to the love of her family, which knew no bounds.
She was at her happiest when she was with her family and friends. She will now no doubt be found at whatever music festivals they have in the sky.
She had a kindness and empathy coupled with an inner strength that shone through, especially towards the end of her life. She was so brave in the end and that made easier for her immediate family.
A loving wife, mother, sister, aunty, and friend who will be hugely missed by everyone who knew her. Especially by her daughters, her love and wise advice will help guide them through their lives ahead.
May we be kind to one another in her memory and may she rest in peace.
On a final note, we want to give our deepest thanks to all the staff at St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke. We have been amazed by their care and dedication and find comfort knowing she was so well looked after in her final month we spent there, and we are so thankful for the kindness they have shown to us as a family
