In the ongoing crisis I feel as one of the lucky ones, as I am a young person with no underlying health conditions and I am able to continue working from home without too much hassle. Unfortunately for others, this is not the case. As you know, elderly people are a particularly vulnerable group with many not able to go outside and some are at home alone without family and friends. That’s why for my birthday on Wednesday I am kindly asking for donations to Age UK (East Sussex) who do great work for the elderly. Any donations will greatly help Age UK deliver the increased demand for care and support that is needed to keep older people safe and well. This could be from getting them food or medicine to just a simple phone call to reassure them that someone is there to talk to and help them.
