Hi my name George Hartshorne, I am apart of a programme at Northumbria University and we are raising money so we can educate and deliver sessions to the young people of Zambia. We will be providing basketball, women's football and netball over a six week block.

The University has been doing the Volunteer ZAMBIA project for 15 years now and it has been a massive success every year. We will be the fist year to go post COVID so that will be a great chance for them because they will be able to enjoy lots of exciting and engaging activities.

This whole experience will not only benefit the children of Zambia it will also change my life for the better because it will allow me to experience a brand new culture. I would of never imaged doing such a fulfilling role with out the brilliant people at Northumbria university and all the people behind the Volunteer ZAMBIA Project. I hope to make the most out of my time in Zambia and change the lives of the young children I will be working with.
