THIS PAGE IS A FUNDRAISE/AWARENESS PAGE FOR ANYONE WHO IS GOING THROUGH ANYTHING RELATED TO NEC LIKE WE DID.

INFORMATION:
Necrotising Enterocolitis (NEC) is a serious condition that can affect newborn babies, where tissue in the bowel (small and large intestines) becomes inflamed. Doctors may also describe NEC as an inflammation of the gut. NEC can affect just a small part of the bowel, or sometimes the whole bowel can be affected.

KAI (my boy) passed away after 4 days and being born at 35 weeks due to not growing for 3 weeks, and once he was born we was shortly told after being admitted to Bristol, St Michaels Hospital from Taunton Musgrove Hospital, he had NEC.

This page is for him and to raise funds towards the two hospitals that tried their very hardest to keep him here with us, but unfortunately the disease was too much to handle.
