Help CoFarm Cambridge tackle food insecurity in Cambridge, 21 May 2021
Since the start of the pandemic, CoFarm Cambridge has organically grown and donated over 10 tonnes of the highest quality fruit and vegetables to people experiencing food insecurity in Cambridge. Please help us cover the farm's core operating costs.

Story

CoFarm Foundation brings people together to grow and share nutritious food, build stronger communities and healthier ecosystems. Throughout the pandemic, over 200 volunteers came together in Cambridge to start the Foundation's first community farm. In its first season, CoFarm Cambridge organically grew over 4.5 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables and donated all of it to 8 community food hubs. We are on track to double this output in 2021. Please help me to raise the funds needed to cover CoFarm Cambridge's basic running costs and support the community food hubs for a second season. The funds will cover the costs of two expert part-time horticulturists to lead the growing and supervise the volunteer co-farmers. It will also help buy tools, horticultural supplies and a composting loo for volunteers! If we exceed the campaign target, extra funds will go towards establishing a community barn for the farm and a green woodworking area. Any amount you can give would be fantastic!
