Story
Hello folks,
“As some of you may know, Lizet and I are doing a charity cycle in August – Ride London 100. The route will follow the same course as the Olympic route last year in what will be (for 2 complete amateurs), a pretty gruelling 9 hours in the saddle on a 100 mile course.
We have decided to do this cycle in aid of Sense UK, which is a fantastic charity which supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind and provides amazing assistance to those in need of help.
We have just started a rigorous training regime J and have a fundraising target of £1,000, so any donation you could pass our way, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
This is the official website of the Ride London race http://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/Prudential_RideLondon___Events/Prudential_RideLondon-Surrey_100.htm
and here is a link to the charity and how they operate http://www.sense.org.uk/content/how-we-help
It goes without saying that there is no obligation at all to contribute – but any amount no matter how small will go to a very worthy cause.
I have set up an account on Just Giving if anyone would like to make a donation online http://www.justgiving.com/Gavin-Doyle2
All donations are automatically transferred to Sense from Just Giving so it’s a pretty efficient way of contributing.
Best wishes and thanks for taking the time,
Gav and Lizet
