Walton-le-Dale High School - Tim Hindle 500 Mile Walk

Fundraising for The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside
£940
raised of £500 target
In memory of Tim Hindle
We protect local wildlife to provide a wilder future for everyone.

Story

Sadly in September 2018 Tim passed away from a brain tumour. To mark what would have been his final year at Walton-le-Dale High School the students and staff are going to walk 500 miles ("500 miles" was one of Tim's favourite songs)

To start each day of sports week (Week commencing 5th July 2021) each year group will walk around the school fields and all the miles will be added up.

Because Tim loved animals and the environment the money raised will go to the nature reserve at Brockholes, Preston via the Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside.
