Story
For those who may not know Gary died on 18th July 2014 from a brain tumour. Gary was originally misdiagnosed therefore by the time we received this devastating news we had very little knowledge or support and time was of the essence. We therefore sought advice and support from trusted NHS medical teams, nationally acclaimed charity organisations and care agencies and were subsequently let down by each and every one.
We then found Brainstrust. This wonderful, caring and small charity not only offered us advice and support they also funded a 2nd opinion from a top London Neuro Consultant. Sadly this was too late to help Gary.
That is the end of Gary's story but it is just the beginning of our fundraising story in his memory. It is our goal to not only raise valuable funds for this amazing charity but to raise awareness of their existence so that their help and support may help many many other patients and families alike.
We will be using this page to keep track of all our fundraising efforts. We will keep an accurate running total and will also post updates on upcoming events. So watch this space!
Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. Thank you for your support. Thank you for any donations you may have or are about to make. Thank you for helping us keep Gary's memory alive, and thank you for supporting Brainstrust.
