Sleeping rough for 2 nights · 30 January 2020

A cafe for homeless and vulnerably-housed people aged 25+ in the centre of Oxford. Open six days a week in the early evening. We provide a wide range of support services and advice as well as simple, nutritious food and drink. In other words, a community centre for those who have no community.

Story

After talking to a few homeless people around Oxford and Maidenhead, some stories we heard were very hard hitting and made us as a group    ( Myself, Joey Feather, Lucy Farrer-Brown and Sasha Withers Green) much more passionate and devoted to raise awareness for this problem. These people end up in the situation they're in for a number of reasons ranging from people coming out of the army and left with nowhere to go, to a 15 year old who was sex trafficked from eastern Europe then left homeless in the UK. We hope to raise a little bit of money to donate to the Gatehouse in Oxford, we will put pictures up of things we have seen around and when we have slept the 2 nights replicating homelessness.

Many thanks
