Overgate Hospice
Overgate hospice provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; 365 days a year to people living in our community; CALDERDALE. Providing care and services for people living with life limiting conditions such as motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer and their relatives.
Overgate Hospice has the time, the expertise and inclination to provide specialist palliative care ensuring that every patient is free from pain and can live their life to the full and every carer and relative is given the support needed to face the challenges of supporting their loved ones. Both before, during and after death Overgate ensures that every member of the Calderdale community who needs our care is supported.
All this care is provided free of charge. We so not ask for a penny for the services yet the cost of providing this care has now reached £1.9million. This money is raised in the main by the generosity of the community we serve and the community you live and work in.
Without the people of Calderdale we cannot survive and we would welcome the opportunity for you to come to the hospice and see the work that we do to care for yours and our community and the services that our amazing residents have helped us provide for over 29 years.
