I'd like to introduce you to Evariste, who runs our malnutrition project. He lost 70 relatives in the Civil War. He could have fled the country for a better job and safe opportunities.
But he is standing firm, strengthened by your prayers and supported by your giving. He's even started a new project in this last year, bringing education and food to forgotten refugee children.
It's dangerous right now just walking the streets of Bujumbura. But our teams are courageously broadcasting peace, sharing the hope of Christ, providing emergency supplies and working tirelessly for long-term transformation. They are in fact delivering the best Burundi has in terms of education, jobs, health, tackling malnutrition and more.
Those of us who have lived through war know that sometimes hope, especially for children, is triggered by something tangible. Like a piece of meat or chocolate at Christmas.
So this year, again, with your help, we are sending a special Christmas offering to Evariste and all our teams so they can share a rare piece of meat, chocolate, or a new item of clothing with their families. Hope...
We can't do this without you. Please contribute to our Christmas appeal so we can bless the those we serve in Burundi not just with a Christmas gift but whatever they need most in the coming months as well? THANK YOU!
GOD BLESS YOU! JOY TO THE WORLD!
