Story
We are deeply saddened to announce that our dear father and “big-boss” George Iliadis has recently passed away on the 27th of May 2021. 12 years ago he was admitted into Stoke Mandeville where he was in the care of the Spinal Team to help rehabilitate him after a tragic accident that left him with T-7 Spinal Cord Injury. He was cared for with the utmost of respect and professionalism.
Throughout his ups and downs and even after being discharged from the hospital he has always spoken highly of all the team and was eternally grateful for their perseverance, encouragement and determination to help him and many others in similar or worse conditions.
The Spinal Department at Stoke Mandeville has suffered over
the past 5 years in generating awareness for their charity and for this reason we would like to help raise funds that will go towards a charity that is close to our hearts.
Where we appreciate that many of George’s family, friends, customers
and suppliers would like to show their respects with flowers or cards we would be grateful for any donations possible to this Charity to help other people regain their lives and give them the ability and courage to carry on as they did for our Father and husband George Iliadis. This
will allow others to also create memories with their families and friends. As a family we will be eternally grateful to Stoke
Mandeville hospital and the Spinal Team for their efforts for giving him the opportunity to continue living his adventurous life with as much normality as possible.
Thank you, from all the Iliadis Family.
