Update - WOW, we reached our target of 10 fridges with over £2500 raised. Now, we pass the baton over to Allan Wright, Mia Wright and Rich McGovern who are kindly running a half marathon to continue raising money for 'Fridges for Rooms'. Let's see if we can get enough for all 18 rooms (approx £250/fridge)

During her life, Mom had 'an eye for detail' when it came to customer experience - all previous customers & friends from The Hollybush, Mellington Hall and The Horse & Jockey will certainly agree! This didn't stop, during her stay at the amazing Compton Care, where she noticed how a fridge with ice-compartment in the room, would help the experience of patients and visitors. Although the team at Compton are always on hand, she felt that having the ability to help herself to a cold drink or ice-lolly, or for us to get one for her, was a little improvement that would give a big benefit  - she ate a lot of ice-lollies and craved a lot of ice-cold drinks, during her stay!

So, with agreement from Compton and their planned room upgrade, this is her wish - to raise money towards fridges in each room - there are 18.  If the target of 10 fridges is exceeded, it will go towards other rooms.

She was delighted to learn that Allan Wright, Mia Wright and Rich McGovern, asked to support this with their fundraising when they run in the Sutton Coldfield half marathon on 6th August.

So please help her achieve her final customer experience wish and act of charity that throughout her life had been so important to her (with in excess of eleven thousand pounds raised during the HollyBush years). You will be confident that in doing so, you'll be helping future patients of Compton Care, have an even more comfortable stay.
