Our beautiful son, Freddie, was stillborn on 6th November 2015. He had a true knot in his umbilical cord and a trainee midwife made failures of care. The hospital’s negligence lead to Freddie being starved of oxygen just a few days before he was to be delivered. We will never be able to fulfil the hopes and dreams we had for our lives together but the charity Petals helped us work through this terrible time.

Freddie touched our lives so deeply and in his memory we want to try and raise as much as we can for Petals. 

"Petals has been providing its specialised counselling service in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas since February 2013. The service is being launched in London this autumn and fundraising projects continue to be a focus as the charity looks to expand further with the intention to be operating nationally by 2018."
