In memory of Deborah Bennett
We provide UK-wide support and information to improve life after brain injury

Story

I have created this page in loving memory of my mum, Deborah Bennett who passed away suddenly on the 5th November 2012 of a brain haemorrhage. As a tribute to her we have decided to set up this page for donations towards our chosen charity 'Headway'.

Headway is a charity set up to give help and support to those affected by Brain Injury through respite care, rehabilitation programmes, carer support and much more. We feel this an appropriate charity because those lucky enough to survive such trauma need charities like this to reconnect with the community and to support their families and carers. If my mum had have survived, it would have been a great comfort to know someone is out there to help, which is why we think their hardwork should continue with others and hopefully with your help it will.

Here is a few ways your donations could help:

£50 provides information packs for two families when a relative has a brain injury

£270 runs the UK helpline for a day, giving support and specialist information to survivors and their families.

£500 provides a set-up grant to develop a local self help group for survivors or carers

So dig deep guys, get donating and lets make something positive come out of this, Thanks xxx
