No doubt it has been an extremely difficult year for people everywhere. Sadly we lost our granny in July 2020, to multiple organ failures and frailty. Granny suffered with Rheumatoid for around 40 years, but she never let that stop her from living and loving life and all who filled it. For someone experiencing such a high threshold of pain on a weekly and daily basis, she was a phenomenal woman; mother, granny, friend and agony aunt! To say we miss her would be an enormous understatement. We hope her strength, bravery and amazing sense of humour has and will stay with us all. Thatchfest is an event we are running to show our support for Versus Arthritis and to remember such a strong and amazing lady. We love you lots granny and thank you for being that extraordinary person in our lives xx
