Story
Wendy Oliver, daughter, sister and friend died on Monday 22nd June 2015 aged 34.
A passionate conservationist and community supporter, Wendy will be missed every day for her infectious giggle and kind nature.
Wendy was an amazing person. She had a boundless energy mixed with a wonderful gift for compassion and it was those qualities which meant she was loved by all who met her. She was a vibrant, beautiful, funny and inspiring woman .
When she lived Wendy encouraged people to do things together in groups and communities as a way of keeping motivated. As a family we have been encouraged to fill the gap that losing Wendy has left in our lives and to maintain a sense of her 'cheering us on' by engaging in ever more challenging goals.
We started by entering a family team at The Gower Triathlon in September 2015. That got us all going ... and now we find ourselves cycling, swimming, walking and running together in ways we never imagined we ever would. And we know that Wendy would have loved it all and that she would be so proud of us.
