We raise funds for Autism Guernsey to support individuals with autism

Story

YOUfirst Community Action of Promises is an annual online auction we host to raise money for our chosen charities. It's another great way to generate much-needed funds rather than just an opportunity to grab a bargain, plus everything that is raised on the site gets match funded by First Central.

Your donations will be going towards Autism Guernsey.

Autism Guernsey is an independent charity set up in 2012 to assist and support people on the autism spectrum in Guernsey. Autism is a neurological-developmental condition and it is not uncommon for people with Autism to experience emotional health difficulties, especially anxiety. As the term ‘Autism Spectrum’ implies, the degree to which people are affected by their condition varies significantly. Our aim is to ensure those with autism are able to lead full, positive and inclusive lives.

RCN CH419
Autism Guernsey is an independent charity which is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with autism and their families. We seek to share our knowledge and expertise with parents, carers and other professionals in order to support the development of skills and strategies needed to provide the best care and support. We have pioneered a number of services, events and clubs for both adults and children. As a registered Guernsey charity, Autism Guernsey receives no statutory financial backing, and all funds raised go towards work carried out in Guernsey. We provide a range of services, clubs and social groups for adults and children on the spectrum and their families or carers. These range from enabling children to take part in activities that they might otherwise find difficult, a personalised outreach service, to parent support groups, interest groups, youth groups and an advisory service.
