Story
Omar Al Shaikh is my friend and was only 16 years old... and sadly he had Acute Myloid Lymphoma but sadly died on Monday 22nd June 2015.
He was a fantastic boy often described as a "one off," and he will be missed so much by his friends and family. He wanted to become an engineer when he grew up, but now he will not get that chance. More awareness is needed for the different types of Leukaemia, and also for the Anthony Nolan Charity and that is why i (Matthew) am raising money for them.
Please donate as much as you can as all the money is going to Anthony Nolan who work very hard to find bone marrow transplant matches for everyone who needs it! The money is going to a worthy cause that saves many lives and gives them a second chance at life! Omar hasn't got a second chance at life, but by donating as much or as little as you can, you can help save others and prevent other people going through what Omar's friends and family are going through right now.
This was a Mirror report when he needed a transplant... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/dying-teenager-fighting-cancer-just-5442528?ICID=FB_mirror_main
