Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me and my wife Tina had a son in 2011, he was with us for 19 days and he was the light of our life until he sadly passed on the 18 April 2011 from Congential CMV (cCMV). We had no idea what CMV was when we got the news when Tina was 32 weeks pregnant, We searched all over for any information and it was very sparse at the time but CMV Action UK was there and they give us all the information we needed and now we want to help spread the word to help reduce or at least inform as many prople as possible about CMV.

CMV Action is a UK organisation of parents and volunteers, who have come together to support families, to raise public awareness of congenital CMV, and campaign for better prevention measures within our health service. We offer advice, support and friendship to anyone affected by congenital CMV, advocating for families and working with a number of medical professionals who have an interest in this field.
