I have been selected to work as a mentor for the Outward Bound Trust through a work based scheme that supports charities and communities. I work for DHL who have supported the Outward Bound Trust since 1998.

I will be taking part in a one week residential course in Snowdonia, helping disadvantaged young kids get the most out of the outward bound programme.

I also have to raise a minimum of £500 to contribute to the Outward Bound trust fund. DHL will match any money I raise so I am determined to make as much as possible.

To do this, I am planning to run (well mostly run!) 100 kilometres off road, across the Peak District in one go ...........hopefully under 20 hours. I have chosen a route that takes in both the Dark and White peak area, and which will include over 10,000 ft of ascent. I aim to start the challenge on Friday July 30th at 2000hrs.

Please help raise money for this brilliant organisation by sponsoring me to complete my peak district challenge. This money will go a long way to help the Outward Bound Trust continue to support young people across the uk.
