Safa's Raising 1,800 to feed 60 Families in Yemen
Safa Z is raising money for Crisis Aid
Story
The UN has called Yemen, “the worst famine this century”, and the death toll from starvation is nearing 100,000 people already - tragically, that figure includes 85,000 children.
Crisis Aid has built a network and are able to distribute the following food parcel in Taiz, Ibb, Sana & Aden
One food parcel costs £30 and contains: 25kg FLour, Rice 10kg, Cooking oil 4.5 litre, Sugar 5kg, Beans 4.8kg, Dates 1kg.
The above parcel will comfortably last a family of 6 for one month.
We are raising £1,800 to provide 60 families with a food pack that will last them for a month.
Hazrat Abu Hurayra(Radiyallahu Anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,said,
“Allah says: ‘I asked you for food and you did not feed Me. “
He (His slave) will say, ‘Lord,how could I feed You when You did not ask me for food and You are the Lord of the universe?’
He will say, ‘Do you not know that My slave so-and-so asked you for food and you did not feed him? Do you not know that if you had fed him,
you would have found that action with Me?……►{Reported by Imam Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad, Hadith #517}
