Story
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know, I am not a runner! However, to be able to take on the challenge of running a marathon has always been something I have wanted to do.
So on Sunday 23rd April 2017, I will be running the Virgin London Marathon in memory of my Grandad. I will be raising as much money as I can for Ellenor Hospice.
Ellenor Hospice is a local charity who many of you may know of. It is a charity funded by the generosity of the local community, offering the best care and support to families facing terminal illness in Kent.
I have chosen to represent Ellenor when running the London Marathon as they provided vital support for my family and I whilst my Grandad was terminally ill. The hospice made his final weeks as comfortable as they could for him, allowing us to be by his side.
The dedication and commitment from the hospice staff and nurses really amazed me. I would like to show my support by taking on this huge challenge and dedicating my time to train and complete the marathon whilst raising as much money as I can!
So to help me take on this challenge, please donate as much as you can and help me exceed my target. I will be holding various fundraising events and will keep you updated throughout my training! Wish me luck!
Lots of Love,
Faye xxx
