Story

Currently, I am at stage 4 terminal cancer. My cancer journey began in 2018 and you can read about it on my Instagram page (farzana.rx).

My intention is to start a Sadaqah Jariya before I depart this dunya and return to Allah. It costs £180 per year to sponsor a Hifdh student and I intend to fundraise for 15 children for three years. Therefore, I aim to raise £8,100 within the last ten days of Ramadan.

Due to my health, this fundraiser will be managed by my family.

'The best amongst you is the one who learns Quran and teaches it.' [Bukhari]

Sponsoring a Hifdh student is one of the best forms of Sadaqah Jariyah. A donor can expect to receive Allah’s blessings so long as the recipient remains alive. You will be rewarded for each letter recited and if the recipient has passed on his learning before his death, then the rewards continue through the vehicle of his students.

The Hafiz could possibly lead taraweeh in the future and SubhanAllah there is endless reward with this fundraiser, so please donate even if it is a small amount. If your donation falls on Laylat-al-Qadr, it's as if you gave charity everyday for 83 years.

Money donated can be Zakat, Sadqah & Lillah.
